Tourist Visa

This visa has provisions for four different streams:

Tourist stream: This visa stream includes individuals who are travelling to Australia for a holiday or recreational purposes. Even if you are going to visit relatives in the country, this visa applies to you.

Business Visitor stream: This visa is for those people who are travelling to Australia on a short business trip or a business visit. Activities such as attending conferences, negotiations, client meeting etc. are part of this visa.

Sponsored Family stream: This visa is applicable for people who are travelling to Australia with the purpose of visiting family. For this visa, you need to have a sponsor who must provide a bond.

Approved Destination Status stream: This visa is only applicable to citizens of the People’s Republic of China who will be travelling in an organized tour group.

• Enjoying a holiday or to meet friends and family who are in Australia
• Studying in Australia for a period of up to three months.
• Engage in some business activity, as long as you don’t sell anything directly to the public, or work directly with or for an Australian business organization.

• If you are granted a multiple-entry visa, you may enter Australia as many time as you wish during the validity period of the visa.
