This visa is a pathway to permanent residency for people who hold a subclass 489, 495, 482 or a
Bridging visa A or B after applying for a 489, 495 or 487 visa.
Requirements:
Applicants must have lived in a regional, low-population growth or designated area of Australia for
at least 2 years and worked full-time in a regional, low-population growth or designated area of
Australia for at least 1 year.
To be able to apply, you must be on a skilled visa or a bridging visa granted in relation to a subclass
487, 489 or 495 visa.
