188A Business and Innovation

This is a 4 year temporary visa for successful business owners who would like to invest in a new or existing business in Australia. Applicants must be nominated by an Australian state or territory and meet the points test, as well as lodge an Expression of Interest through SkillSelect.

188B Investor Stream

This is for applicants who wish to invest a minimum of $5 million in ‘complying investments’ in Australia for 4 years to obtain PR.

188C Significant Investor Stream

For applicants willing to invest at least $5 million into complying significant investments and want to maintain business and investment in Australia.

188D Premium Investor Visa

This stream is for applicants willing to invest at least $15 million into complying premium investments in Australia and want to maintain business and investment activity.

188E Entrepreneur Visa

This is for applicants who have a funding agreement with a third party for at least $200,000 to undertake a complying entrepreneur activity that is proposed to lead to either the commercialization of a product or service in Australia or the development of a business.

888 Business Innovation and Investment Visa – PR

Can apply for this after holding the 188 provisional visa either for 2 years in the Business Innovation Stream or 4 years in the Investor Stream.
