This visa allows international students to undertake full-time education in Australia.<\/p>

Eligibility Requirements:<\/h4>

• Enrol with an Australian education provider as a full-time student, and obtain written confirmation of enrolment<\/li>
• Genuinely intend to complete study<\/li>
• Have minimum 5.5 in IELTS and 42 in PTE (within last 2 years)<\/li>
• Have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the period of intended stay<\/li>
• Have sufficient funds\u00a0to cover flights, tuition and the cost of living<\/li>
• Work no more than 40 hours per fortnight whilst course is in session.<\/li><\/ul>

  GTE requirement:<\/h4>

  The Department will assess to see if you are genuinely going to stay in Australia temporarily<\/p>

  In order to prove this, we need evidence such as:\u00a0<\/h4>

  • statement of purpose\u00a0<\/li>
  • evidence of your family economic circumstances in home country (bank accounts, whether they have a\u00a0business, house, etc.)<\/li>
  • ties to your home country (evidence of financial and personal ties to your home country, such as\u00a0evidence of assets\u00a0in home country consistent with your family background,\u00a0family or social ties\u00a0that would provide sufficient inducement for them to return to home country at the end of your studies). Please provide\u00a0a list of your family members\u00a0and other\u00a0social ties\u00a0(friends, previous co-workers, etc.)<\/li>
  • evidence of past study<\/li>
  • work experience \u2013 Please provide evidence of employment for at least the previous12 months, evidence of an offer of employment upon your return home, tax returns or financial statements<\/li>
  • letter from your employer or statement from the applicant attesting to a need by the applicant for (improved) skills for the purposes of their employment or career prospects<\/li>
  • evidence of a range of professional or academic outcomes supporting the need for a new career direction.<\/li><\/ul>
